Notable Projects

Don owns a ranch house that was built in the 1960s. The interior was dated and in need of some time and attention. Instead of selling the property, Don decided to hire THC to re-do every room—removing all wallpaper, prepping the walls, priming and final paint from the baseboards to the ceilings. In the end, THC replaced all light fixtures, switches, and receptacles. The living room windows and doors were given new life with a fresh coat of polyurethane. In addition, all new shades and blinds were installed throughout the house.

Christine owns an old farmhouse with an extensive three-level deck. The deck itself was aging and had many rotted boards. First, the area was pressure-washed to evaluate its condition and get a scope of the restoration. After we replaced all the rotted/damaged wood, Christine decided to have us add spindles to all three levels. On the very top level, we installed three new sections and gates to partition off the area from the side yard for her pets.

Janet & Joe have a 125-year-old Victorian home with a three-season porch that was added about 50 years ago. Due to its poor condition, the porch went through a full interior and exterior restoration. The porch windows would not open, and all the hardware was either rusted or painted shut. During the restoration, every inch of the porch was stripped down to bare wood. In addition, the windows had to be removed one section at a time, with all hardware stripped and restored. Accent molding was added to the exterior and painted with a tertiary accent color. A fresh coat of polyurethane was also applied to the interior floor and ceiling.
